The After School Adventure Program has been put on hold until the district moves to a hybrid or traditional model.

***ALL Hockinson School District facilities are closed until further notice. It will be reevaluated once Clark County goes to phase 3.     
2020-2021 Hockinson Day Camps    

Hockinson Community Education will be running day camps for HSD students in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade. Day camps will begin the first day of school and will follow the HSD school calendar. Hours will be 7 am - 6pm. Day camps will be held at the Hockinson Community Center (aka Old Middle School).

Day camps will provide students a fun and caring staff, who will offer fun activities, designated school work time including zoom meetings with teachers, outdoor play, games, crafts and more. Students will be grouped together in cohorts and must stay with their group and assigned staff member. We will be taking all precautions recommended by the Washington State Department of Health to assure staff, student and family health. Our programming is required to follow the state guidelines. Click HERE for more information.

The following guidelines will be required for classes and camps.    
  • Instructors will check kids in. Their temperature will be taken and if it is 100.4 or higher, they will not be allowed to participate in the camp. 
  • If your child, or any other family member, has been sick, PLEASE stay home for the well-being of others. 
  • No parents will be allowed in the building.
  • Each child must bring their own mask, and wear it during camp except when physically active (running).
  • Each child must bring their own water bottle daily. Drinking fountains will not be accessible.
  • Children will be encouraged to socially distance themselves from others. 
  • Hand sanitizing will be required.
