Free drop-in program now available for kids 0-5

Toddler

Beginning on Thursday, January 9, 2020, families will have the opportunity to bring their children (ages birth to five) to the former Hockinson Middle School building for a free drop-in program known as 1-2-3 Grow & Learn.

This weekly, 90-minute program provides local families with:

  • Focused parent-child time
  • Socialization (meet other families/children)
  • School readiness activities & snacks
  • Outside-of-the-home fun

Unlike a traditional drop-off childcare program, 1-2-3 Grow & Learn is designed for parents and legal guardians to stay and play with their child. No registration is required.

The program will be offered every Thursday (excluding non-school days) from 12:30 to 2 p.m. between January 9 and June 3, 2020. The former Hockinson Middle School building is located at 15916 NE 182nd Ave., Brush Prairie.

Participation in 1-2-3 Grow & Learn comes at no cost to families thanks to a grant procured by ESD 112 in partnership with Hockinson School District.
