To keep families and staff current with COVID-19 infection rates in our schools, the HSD updates a COVID-19 Dashboard on a daily basis. Click on the link below to view our district's updated dashboard:

Glossary

Close Contact: Includes individuals who were within:

- 3 feet of an infected person/suspected infection for at least 15 minutes inside a classroom.

- 6 feet of an infected person/suspected infection for at least minutes when at school but not in a classroom (eg, lunch, recess).

Isolation: Includes individuals who have tested positive for infection with SARS-CoV-2.

Outbreak: An outbreak in a school setting is considered when:

  • There are two or more laboratory-positive COVID-19 cases among students or staff.

  • The cases have symptoms beginning within 14 days of each other.

  • The cases are epidemiologically linked in the school (i.e. were within 6 feet of each other for 15 minutes or more, or were in the same classroom, pod, transportation or school-sponsored extracurricular location).

  • The cases do not share a household and were not identified as close contacts in another setting.

Positive: Includes individuals with a molecular (PCR) positive test.

Quarantine: Includes individuals who might have been exposed to COVID-19 or who have recently had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
