Cradled in the foothills of the Cascade mountains, Hockinson is a peaceful semi-rural community located just outside of the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area.

With low population density and spacious properties interspersed among woods, wetlands and small farms, Hockinson is perfect for those who appreciate their space. On clear days, you'll see Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood towering above the horizon.

Hockinson has a family-friendly environment, with amenities such as the 63-acre Alderbrook Park, 70-acre Hockinson Meadows Park/Frisbee Golf Course/Dog Park and the 280-acre pristine Battle Ground Lake State Park are minutes away. Walkers, joggers and cyclists thrive in the scenic hills. Signature events include the Hometown Holidays Tree Lighting in December, Hockinson Fun Days in June, Blueberry Festival in July, and every school-based event!

Residents here enjoy good air quality and low crime rates. Two quality hospitals and five colleges are within 20 miles, including Washington State University's fastest growing campus. Three large grocers are within 15 minutes, and you can reach Portland International Airport or downtown Portland in about a half an hour.
