HSD Helpers

It takes a village to create excellent educational experiences for kids and maintain school facilities. HSD Helpers is a place to find opportunities to pitch in for Hockinson schools. Our community helps us to fill school needs in the most economical, financially responsible way. Hockinson Helpers lift HSD students to new heights. You'll find volunteer opportunities, call-outs for equipment rental needs, donation requests, and more on this page. Thank you, Hockinson community, for supporting our schools!

Hockinson Heights Elementary School is looking for parents and community members to share their time and knowledge with young learners through extracurricular activities and clubs.

Do you have a skill or interest you'd like to share with Hockinson kids after school? Past examples of extracurricular clubs include basic volleyball, cross stitching, bird watching, and even auto maintenance. Ideally, the clubs would run for 4-6 weeks from 2:30-3:30 pm once or twice a week on the HHES campus. Interested? Please contact Michael Olson, HHES Associate Principal.

The Hockinson Public Schools Foundation invites community members to join its team as board members and scholarship application reviewers. These roles are crucial in selecting scholarship awardees and contributing to the board's mission of bolstering the educational endeavors within the Hockinson School District. The Hockinson Public Schools Foundation aims to grow the board from the existing five board members to a team of eight to 12. Join the team to support Hockinson kids!
