The Board of Directors is legally responsible for the operation of the schools in the Hockinson School District. The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) was organized for the purpose of keeping the Board thoroughly informed on the needs of the community and to also inform the community of the district needs.
The CAC is a recommending body, and has no legal authority. The Board of Directors is aware that a good school program can be developed if citizens in the community contribute their suggestions as a result of a planned study of problems as indicated by the Board.
Citizens Advisory Committee meetings are the first Monday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and are typically held in the Hockinson Middle School Library. This schedule is subject to change, so please check the District Calendar for any updates.
