For the first time in school history, the HHS Boys Wrestling Team defeated Mark Morris HS from Longview. At the home HHS-MMHS dual meet on Tues. Dec. 2, the Hawks won 10 of 14 matches (!) to come out on top of the Monarchs by a final team score of 55-23.
Congratulations, too, to HHS Girls Wrestling Team for their 51-18 home victory over Stevenson HS. Winners included Zowie Lehecka, Amelia Hansen, Olivia Archuleta, Ashlyn McKay, Teagan Trenda, Elliana De La Rocha, and Faith Sjothun.
Big thanks to Head Coach Brandon Redeau, his coaching staff, all athletes, fans, and the HHS Drumline for putting Hawk Pride on full display! Thanks, too, to the Hockinson community. Sports like wrestling are funded by local levy dollars.
