Following a first quarter full of turnovers by both teams, the Hawks settled down and secured the victory in their home opener against Fort Vancouver on Friday, Sept. 4. Freshman quarterback Stephen Foerstner threw for 136 yards and two touchdowns as Hockinson rode a big second quarter en route to a 36-6 win.
