Facilities Planning Committee

Purpose of the FPC

A group of people sitting around a wooden table

  • Inform members about facilities updates, projects, and needs.

  • Collaborate on solutions for short- and long-term needs.

  • Guide a district-wide maintenance and facilities plan.

  • Communicate with the community on these topics.

The FPC, which began in the 2022-2023 school year, consists of community members, a board member, and HSD staff.

Meetings are led by two representatives from ESD 112’s Construction Services Group. This 14-member committee was formed at the start of the school year. Families and community members are welcome to attend these bi-monthly meetings remotely. Meeting details will be posted on the school district calendar website.

Providing safe, high-quality schools for HSD’s 1,965 students is a big job, but the FPC will not do it alone. The FPC sends regular reports and survey opportunities to Hockinson families
