What is Skyward Qmlativ?

Qmlativ is the next generation of Skyward SMS, our student information system. The upgrade version offers a more user-friendly design and easy-to-navigate interfact. This move promises enhanced functionality across key areas of student information, payroll, finance and human resources. As with any major technology upgrade, there will be obstacles along the way. Your patience and flexibility are appreciated as we all endure the growing pains before experiencing the benefits that will come with Qmlativ.

Qmlativ Transition Timeline

  • Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Noon: The current Skyward system will be turned off for all users, including staff and families.

  • April 2 – 12, 2026: During this migration window, families will not have access to grades, attendance, or food service balances. Our team will be reviewing data and preparing for the new system. Also during this time, users will not be able to submit online HSD student registrations or job applications.

  • Monday, April 13, 2026: The new Qmlativ system will officially go live. We will send the link out directly via email on that Monday, and the link will also be updated on our district website.

How to log into the new Skyward/Qmlativ

What Families Need to Know

  • Logging in: You will use the exact same login and password you currently use for Skyward to sign into Qmlativ. No new account creation necessary.

Log into the correct system by clicking on the Qmlativ button in the upper, right-hand corner of this page or visit the button below beginning on April 13:

If you need to reset your password, click the "Forgot Password" link on the Skyward log-in page. 

  • The Skyward App: You can still use the app, but you will need to delete and reinstall it on your device on or after April 13th to connect to the new system. Instructions can be found here.

Instructions for Redownloading the App

  • Payments: If you make payments via the online store while the system is down (April 2 through 12), please note they won't show up in your student's balance until Qmlativ goes live on April 13th.
