Twelve HHS Band students played beautifully in last month’s LCRMEA High School Honor Band performance at Union High School. Led by Paul Bain, conductor at Western Washington University, the ensemble delivered an advanced program with passion and precision. Participating in the LCRMEA Honor Band enriches the HHS program and benefits students in a number of ways. According Band Director Corey McEnry, it gives students the invaluable collaborative experience of making music with highly-talented peers from across the region. They also get "challenged artistically, inspired by incredible conductors, and return to our program with new skills, confidence, and motivation," says McEnry. Watch the performance here!
