Michelle Jacobs-Brown, who coaches the seven-school Hockinson Swim Cooperative for both Girls Swim and Boys Swim, was named the 1A/2A Coach of the Year by the Washington Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association.

Jacobs-Brown was honored for promoting student participation and the sport of swimming in SW Washington at the 2025 State Girls Swim Meet at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
