We are also proud to share that Ryder Hough was selected as the Swimmer of the Meet at the District 4 Swim Meet on Saturday — an outstanding honor and a testament to his exceptional performance!

Team Achievement – A First in School History

For the first time ever, Hockinson High School’s girls wrestling team placed 4th overall with 143.5 points. This milestone marks a historic moment for our program and reflects the dedication, unity, and relentless work these athletes demonstrate every single day.

Boys State Qualifiers & League Results

District 4 includes two leagues (GSHL and EVCO) and the pathway to State for Boys Wrestling differs from the girls’ format due to the higher number of wrestlers in each weight class.

Each league held its own league tournament, with the top two finishers automatically advancing to State. Wrestlers placing 3rd, 4th, and 5th-place in each league advanced to a cross-over event, where winners earned the remaining State berths. Because of this structure, there was not a single, traditional district tournament for the boys.

Our State qualifiers:

• 106 lbs – Parker Leibfried: 2nd

• 113 lbs – Colin Richardson: 2nd

• 120 lbs – John Carey: 4th

• 138 lbs – Austin Wallace: 2nd

• 144 lbs – Liam McKee: 2nd

•175 lbs - Leniel Sutton – 3rd

We are incredibly proud of all our wrestlers and coaches for representing Hockinson with integrity, perseverance and relentless spirit. Let’s cheer on our Hawks as they compete at State!
