Several Hockinson High School students recently performed in the Lower Columbia River Music Educators Association (LCRMEA) High School Honor Band, a regional ensemble that brings together top student musicians from across Southwest Washington.

The Honor Band performance took place at Union High School. The event gives students the opportunity to collaborate with other accomplished musicians from across the region while working under the guidance of guest conductor Paul Bain of Western Washington University.

An intensive rehearsal process culminating in a public performance. Throughout the event, students refined their technical skills, learned new repertoire, and gained experience performing in a large ensemble setting with peers from multiple schools.

Participation in the LCRMEA Honor Band is a significant achievement for student musicians and reflects the strong music program at Hockinson High School. Congratulations to the students for representing HHS and sharing their talents with the broader music community.
