Hockinson School District is moving to Qmlativ, the next version of the Skyward software, in April 2026. We’re migrating all family and student data to this new system. The transition will begin on April 2, and Qmlativ will go live for Hockinson families on Monday, April 13.

Qmlativ allows parents to access student records, grades, attendance, and payments via one mobile-friendly system.

What Families Need to Know

  • Logging in: You will use the exact same login and password you currently use for Skyward to sign into Qmlativ. No new account creation necessary.

  • The Skyward App: You can still use the app, but you will need to delete and reinstall it on your device on or after April 13th to connect to the new system. Instructions can be found here.

  • Payments: If you make payments via the online store while the system is down (April 2 through 12), please note they won't show up in your student's balance until Qmlativ goes live on April 13th.

  • Guides: We will be posting resources and "how-to" guides on the district website to help you get settled.

Qmlativ Transition Timeline:

  • Thursday, April 2nd at Noon: The current Skyward system will be turned off for all users, including staff and families.

  • April 2nd – April 12th: During this migration window, families will not have access to grades, attendance, or food service balances. Our team will be reviewing data and preparing for the new system. Also during this time, users will not be able to submit online HSD student registrations or job applications.

  • Monday, April 13th: The new Qmlativ system will officially go live. We will send the link out directly via email on that Monday, and the link will also be updated on our district website.
