HHES 4th-grade students proudly show off the toolboxes they built with HHS CTE program participants.

Earlier this month, fourth-grade students from Hockinson Heights Elementary School teamed up with students in the high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) program to complete a hands-on toolbox building project. This mentorship opportunity across schools and grade levels benefits elementary and high school students alike.

Students strengthened their construction skills, applied math in real ways, and built confidence by creating their own toolboxes.
