Did you know that nearly 10,000 pieces of art are created at Hockinson Heights Elementary School each year? On May 8, that creativity was on full display as the Hockinson High School Commons transformed into an art gallery for the annual TK-12 Visual Arts Showcase. The exhibit featured paintings, ceramics, and other imaginative works created by over 150students across all grade levels, from the district’s youngest learners to graduating seniors.
Four Hockinson High School students who were recently honored at the 2026 Southwest Washington Regional High School Art Show also had their artwork on display.
The TK-12 Visual Arts Showcase stretches back to before 2008 and remains a beloved annual event thanks to our dedicated Hockinson art educators. Supported by the local school levy approved earlier this year, the HSD’s art program continues to provide opportunities for students to develop their creativity and passion for visual media. Thank you, Hockinson families, for supporting our students and the arts!
