The much-anticipated Hockinson Blueberry Festival will be back on Saturday, July 18th, bringing together farm-fresh blueberries, local businesses, music, and community spirit. Hosted by the Hockinson Main Street Team and the Hockinson School District, this annual event showcases the bounty of Hockinson’s blueberry farms and the rural charm of its small-town roots.

Picture of inflatable blueberryOrganizers will also unveil a new addition: A giant, 16-ft diameter inflatable blueberry that will serve as a landmark for attendees.

Festival Details:

Hockinson Community Center
Corner of 159th & 182nd Avenue, Brush Prairie, WA
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Attendees are invited to take a scenic country drive and stock up on freshly picked blueberries while meeting the farmers who grow them. In addition to berry sales, the event features:

  • Live music

  • Blueberry baking & pie eating contests

  • Delicious blueberry-inspired treats, including fan favorites:

  • Blueberry lemonade

  • Blueberry coffee cake

  • Blueberry milkshakes

“Most of these items are only available once a year,” said Justin VanNatta, owner of the Hockinson Market and member of the Hockinson Main Street Team.

Live music will be provided by the Thilo Kluth Trio and Kirby Swatosh.

“This festival is really unique,” said Dan Avery and Victoria Tullett, owners of Hummingbird Hill Blueberry Farm. “Our town’s blueberry farms - big and small - work together to spotlight Hockinson and its independent businesses. It's really something that the community looks forward to every summer.”
