As they do every August, Hockinson's teachers and staff reported for their first of three Learning Improvement Days (LIDs) this week. LIDs provide educators with programming focused on instructional effectiveness and professional growth, furthering the HSD's commitment to preparing all students for lifelong success. In addition to the districtwide LIDs, orientation days at Hockinson Middle and High Schools and the community fair at Hockinson Heights Elementary School helped students feel welcome and prepared for the new school year.

The HSD looks forward to welcoming Grades 1-12 back to school on Monday, Aug. 24, and our TK and Kindergarten students on Thursday, Aug. 27.
