This month, students at HHES enjoyed two special visits from local police officers through the Police Activities League (PAL) program.
Officer Chad Prentice visited second-grade classrooms on October 21. Students had the exciting opportunity to explore emergency vehicles before spending time with an officer for a special read-aloud activity. To make the visit even more memorable, each student selected a book to take home and enjoy.

On October 28, Officer Bradley Chicks visited a kindergarten classroom to share a story and offer helpful safety tips for trick-or-treating ahead of Halloween.

Thank you to Officers Prentice and Chicks and the PAL program for taking the time to connect with our students, promote literacy, and share important safety lessons!
